Located in Sydney’s CBD, Harper Rooftop Bar is set to be the largest open-air rooftop bar in the area and will open on Thursday, November 2.
The venue features a rooftop pool, colorful décor and vibrant greenery atop the Kimpton Margot Sydney. The design takes inspiration from beach club interiors and contemporary pastel hues to create a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere. Jean-Baptiste Robert, Pro-Invest Group’s Regional Director of Food & Beverage, explained the vision behind the venue.
“Harper Rooftop Bar is an immersive space that celebrates the finer things in life, which is reflected in the F&B offering. The drinks menu has a fun, playful vibe with premium cocktails and delicious slushies complemented by an extensive range of wines available by the glass and bottle,” said Robert.
The beverage menu includes custom cocktails, summer-inspired slushies, Freisling and a selection of award-winning wines. In the evening, guests can take advantage of the build-your-own martini station.
“It’s a destination in its own right and the place for people to come together with amazing food, laid-back tunes and energetic vibes in the vibrant heart of the CBD,” added Robert.
Chef Luke Mangan is taking on the food side with a Mediterranean-inspired share plate menu.
“We’ve created a delicious Mediterranean-inspired menu full of small, shareable plates using fresh, local produce and lots of amazing seafood – the perfect combination to celebrate the warm summer days,” Mangan described.
Just days after opening, Harper Rooftop Bar will host a Melbourne Cup celebration with the races on the big screens and three hours of beer, wine and drinks included in a $195 per person drinks package.
“Finally the cat is out of the bag – Harper Rooftop Bar opens in a few weeks and we can’t wait to see Sydneysiders enjoying this amazing open-air rooftop bar with a rose in hand,” concluded Mangan.
