L’Oreal Italia has appointed Ninell Sobiecka as President and CEO, effective January 2024. Sobiecka succeeds Emmanuel Goulin, who was recently promoted to president of travel retail.
According to a report published by Breaking Latest, Polish-born Sobiecka joined the French beauty giant in 2005 and has held a number of senior positions in Europe and Asia, most recently as President and CEO for Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
Vianney Derville, President of the Europe Zone, told Breaking Latest: “I would like to thank Emmanuel in particular for having defined a clear and ambitious strategic roadmap for Italy for the coming years. Ninell is widely recognized as a modern, forward-thinking leader, a strategic thinker and a people developer. I am therefore confident that she will quickly adapt to the Italian cultural environment and further contribute to the ongoing modernization of L’Oreal Italia”.
