As Tata Motors strives to capture a larger share of the Indian passenger vehicle market, it has been focusing on the SUV segment, which has experienced significant growth in recent years. With the revamped versions of the Harrier and Safari, following the introduction of the Nexon facelift, Tata Motors aims to further elevate its presence in this segment.
The Harrier facelift showcases a heavily redesigned front profile, as well as noticeable changes at the side and rear. Inside the cabin, extensive updates can be seen, with a plethora of new features driven by advanced technologies, enhancing the car’s premium appeal. Additionally, the trim levels have been revised compared to the pre-facelift version.
Competing against rivals such as the Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector, Mahindra XUV700, and Jeep Compass, the Tata Harrier facelift occupies a competitive pricing range. The Harrier’s base price falls between ₹15.49 lakh and ₹24.49 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Hyundai Alcazar ranges between ₹16.78 lakh and ₹21.24 lakh (ex-showroom). The Mahindra XUV700 is priced from ₹14.03 lakh to ₹26.57 lakh (ex-showroom), and the MG Hector falls between ₹14.73 lakh and ₹21.73 lakh (ex-showroom). Lastly, the Jeep Compass is available at a price range of ₹20.49 lakh to ₹32.07 lakh (ex-showroom).
In comparison, the Mahindra XUV700 offers a lower base price than the Tata Harrier SUV facelift, while the top-end variants of the Hyundai Alcazar and MG Hector are priced lower compared to the top variant of the Tata Harrier.
Overall, the Harrier facelift showcases Tata Motors’ commitment to delivering enhanced designs, features, and competitive pricing to cater to the growing demands in the Indian SUV market.
