Drive Green Vehicle Services, a garage specializing in the repairs and servicing of electric vehicles (EV) and hybrids, has been announced as one of the top 10 finalists in the Top Technician and Top Garage Awards in the category for garages with one to three employees. The awards, run by Aftermarket Magazine, recognize excellence in the automotive industry.
Opened in May 2021 by owner Dave Wilson, Drive Green Vehicle Services is the only garage of its kind in the Haverhill area. The business prides itself on keeping up with the latest trends and offering the best service possible. It specializes in dealing with diesel particulate filters (DPFs) and is a member of HEVRA, the Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Repair Alliance. In addition, the garage is part of Avon Tuning, enabling them to tune cars for increased performance.
The path to the finals has been a challenging one, requiring multiple rounds of tests and assessments. Dave Wilson and his team have tirelessly worked to improve the garage’s facilities and image, investing time and money to create a more presentable space. The anticipation and pressure are high, as two of the other finalists in the category have previously won the award.
In addition to its automotive expertise, Drive Green Vehicle Services has also contributed to the local community. Last year, the team collaborated with the Haverhill Show Committee and the Disco Kitchen to build the new Haverhill Santa sleigh, which raises money for charity during the month of December.
The final round of the Top Technician and Top Garage Awards will take place on October 21st. The team at Drive Green Vehicle Services is proud to have reached this stage and hopes to bring home the prestigious accolade for their outstanding work in the industry.
