The new Genesis GV80 Coupe has made its debut in Korea. The car comes packed with features such as a brand-new 27-inch display and a 3.5-litre turbo V6 engine with an electric supercharger. The automaker has also revealed the facelifted version of the GV80.
Genesis, a premium division of Hyundai Motor Co., has pulled the wraps off the GV80 Coupe for Korea, which is the automaker’s first-ever coupe SUV. In addition, the Korean luxury brand revealed an updated version of its GV80 flagship SUV. Regarding the first-ever Coupe SUV, the automaker said ”Strikes a balance between bold athleticism and sleek elegance with its Parabolic Line and double-layered Crest Grille”. The GV80 Coupe is said to offer the practicality of an SUV with the sporty feel of a coupe while retaining the base model’s looks and performance.
The front of the Coupe SUV looks similar to the regular model, but upon closer inspection, a few differences can be seen. These include a slightly different skid plate and additional slits beneath the grille. Other exterior highlights of the Coupe include ”Expanded air intake, an Active Air Flap, and four air vents, which improve engine cooling while also contributing to the bold appeal”, and ”Coupe-exclusive 20- and 22-inch wheels with distinctive spokes”
