Kia India has recently expanded its Seltos lineup by adding two new variants – GTX+ (S) and X-Line (S). Positioned between the HTX+ variant and GTX+ and X-Line models, these additions aim to reduce the waiting period and enhance the value proposition of the popular Seltos model.
The GTX+ (S) variant is priced at ₹19.40 lakh, while the X-Line (S) variant costs ₹19.60 lakh. These prices correspond to the Smartstream G1.5 T-GDi Petrol with 7-speed DCT transmission and 1.5L CRDi VGT Diesel engine with 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission, respectively.
The introduction of these new variants is expected to significantly reduce the waiting period for customers, from an average of 15-16 weeks to 7-9 weeks. In addition, the new variants will come equipped with a Level 2 Advanced Driver Aids System, featuring 17 autonomous functionalities, providing enhanced safety and convenience for the driver.
Further enhancements include the inclusion of an electronic parking brake with auto hold and 18-inch crystal cut alloy wheels finished in glossy black color. Additionally, customers have the option to choose a black roof finish for an additional cost of ₹20,000.
Mr. Hardeep Singh Brar, National Head of Sales and Marketing at Kia India, emphasized the company’s commitment to providing quick access to customers’ most desired vehicles. By introducing these new variants, Kia aims to cater to tech-savvy customers who prioritize both aesthetics and advanced safety features, without compromising on quick delivery.
